其中，A Map Of the Universe by Blink曾进入过专辑前十名；The End Is High是Billboard杂志的一张周专辑；Deep Inside The Sound Of Sadness在2005年的流星音乐奖被提名为最佳爱尔兰专辑。
由德莫特兰伯特（Dermot Lambert）,罗比塞克斯顿（Robbie Sexton）,布莱恩麦克拉克林（Brian McLoughlin） 和巴里贸易坎贝尔（Barry Campbell）四名成员建立于20世纪90年代中期。他们的CD引发了A&R风暴，被国际上的音乐人追捧为“下一个U2乐队”。后与EMI签约，初次亮相。
第一次演出后的四个月，Blink在录音室与著名的制作人，约翰奥尼尔（John O'Neill）、吉尔诺顿（Gil Norton）和史蒂夫（Steve Hillage）。
乐队最早的单曲，Going To Nepal和Happy Day在爱尔兰进入前20名。第三张单曲It's Not My Fault居于第八名。
1994年的八月份，见证了他们的首张专辑A Map of the Universe by Blink进入爱尔兰专辑榜第八名，并被Hot Press杂志赞扬时“有史以来最棒的爱尔兰流行乐专辑”，而不是将“流行乐”诋毁作一个肮脏的词。
Blink发布单曲Cello以支持专辑发行，并且连续六周居于第十名。这张专辑几乎立刻大受欢迎。
1995年，Soundcrowd将Cello重新混音，再次造成巨大反响，并在Hot Press音乐奖上得到四个奖项的提名。
在国内，唱片公司正在寻求新专辑，因此乐队犹豫着整装去英格兰为Parlophone公司录音。然而美国的通话一直很困难，所以第二张专辑The Earth Is High被推迟了。最终于1998年三月在美国发行。Billboard杂志将其评为当月的五星级专辑。专辑在短时间内继续复制了90,000份，并打开了美国巡回演出的大门。
后来，Paradigm唱片公司关闭了。Blink和他么的朋友，著名的制作人兼Ministry乐队创始人，豪伊比诺（Howie Beno），决定勇往直前，并计划制作第三张专辑——Deep Inside The Sound Of Sadness便诞生了。
