folks是来自北海道恵庭市的5人摇滚乐队。所属唱片公司为Sony Music Entertainment旗下Ki/oon Music。
以2012年9月从日本乐队GalileoGalilei脱退的成员岩井郁人和野口一雅为中心的FOLKS在2013年1月结成。 同年3月发行迷你专辑「Take Off」，以北海道当地为中心进行live活动。 2014年2月12日发行第二张迷你专辑「NEWTOWN」正式出道。
