2010年1月，史蒂麦可首度前往台湾，与当红歌后蔡依林一同献唱“轩尼诗炫音之乐 跨年音乐派对”，他向记者表示，“自己一直都很喜欢台湾歌手的音乐，所以在自己的新专辑中也改编了知名歌手陶喆的歌曲‘爱很简单’。”他的新专辑更是以这首歌改编的歌曲“我爱你”来命名。

情人节即将到来之际，史蒂麦可特别推出这张用爱演唱的专辑，将一曲曲动听的歌曲和温情的歌声作为礼物送给热恋中的情侣们。Stewart Mac说：“如果没了歌曲，外表是否好看、造型是否出色、是否签约给最大的唱片公司、是不是有最多的宣传制作预算……这些全都不重要，因为，打动人心永远是音乐本身，这是最根本的成功核心价值。”
