周丛照,男,汉族,1968年11月出生于湖北麻城,博士,中国科学技术大学教授、博士生导师

人物经历

1987年至2000年就读于中国科学技术大学生物系和生命科学学院并先后获学士、硕士和博士学位。

2000年至2003年在法国科研中心及巴黎南大学从事博士后研究。

2004年1月任中国科学技术大学教授,合肥微尺度物质科学国家实验室研究员,同年获中国科学院百人计划择优支持。

2006年至2010年任科技部重大研究计划项目首席科学家,

2009年3月至2014年5月任中国科学技术大学生命科学学院副院长,

2014年5月起任中国科学技术大学教务处处长,

2019年4月起任中国科学技术大学校长助理、教务长,

2021年12月起任中国科学技术大学党委常委、副校长。

学术成就

长期从事本科生“生物化学”教学和研究生培养,现主要研究方向为蓝藻水华的形成机制和干预策略。已在PNAS、Nature子刊、EMBO Reports和JBC等发表研究论文近100篇。

社会兼职

2005年至2017年任中国生物化学与分子生物学学会常务理事,

2014年起任安徽省生物化学与分子生物学学会理事长,

2015年任亚洲及大洋洲生物化学家与分子生物学家联盟(FAOBMB)中国代表,

2015年起任科技部重点研发计划“蛋白质机器与生命过程调控”重点专项指南编写专家组成员,

2017年起任科技部重点研发计划总体专家组成员。

2017年任中国晶体学会副监事长和中国生物化学与分子生物学学会监事。
