曾主持国家自然科学基金重点/面上项目、863子课题、973子课题、转基因专项、浙江省杰出青年基金等研究课题近20项。先后获省部级以上科技成果奖励9项,包括国家科技进步二等奖、浙江省科技进步一等奖等,获授权发明专利10余项。在《Nature Plants》、《Plant Physiology》、《Plant Journal》、《Journal of Experimental Botany》、《BMC Plant Biology》等国内外期刊发表研究论文60余篇,在《Cell》、《Nature》、《PNAS》等期刊合作发表论文30余篇。2010年入选为浙江省“新世纪151人才工程”第一层次,2012年获浙江省151人才工程重点人才资助,2017年入选浙江省“万人计划”创新领军人才,2018年入选科技部“万人计划”中青年创新领军人才。
(1)水稻遗传材料创制、突变体库及遗传群体构建;
(2)围绕水稻高光效、养分高效利用及机简集约开展相关遗传调控网络及基因组进化研究;
(3)挖掘特异种质资源,开展有利基因聚合及分子设计育种研究。
