李建国,男,博士,江苏江都人。中科院南京地质古生物研究所研究员、古植物与孢粉学研究室副主任。
李建国,男,博士,江苏江都人。中科院南京地质古生物研究所研究员、古植物与孢粉学研究室副主任。1994年山东矿业学院地科系,获学士学位。中国科学院南京地质古生物研究所硕士、博士。
历任印度加尔各答大学(2002)、年英国威尔士大学(2003-2004)、英国BGS(2009)访问学者。
现任中国古生物学会孢粉学分会理事、秘书长。
从事中、新生代孢粉学研究,研究领域包括化石孢粉形态与分类、孢粉地层学、沉积与古环境分析、被子植物花粉起源与演化、沟鞭藻、孢粉相及烃源岩评价等。现主要致力于青藏高原地质研究和中国白垩、第三系研究。
主持或参加了多项国家973重点基础规划研究、国家“十五”攀登、中国科学院“九五”重大、国家自然科学基金、中国科学院创新方向性项目及重大科技专项等课题项目的研究工作。曾10多次赴青藏高原考察。成果曾获云南省科技一等奖。
