杨小军，男，1976年8月生，河北省唐山人，博士，西北农林科技大学教授，博士生导师。获教育部新世纪优秀人才，陕西省中青年科技领军人才，陕西省青年科技新星和陕西省青年科技奖等荣誉称号。
1996-2000年本科就读于南京农业大学，2000-2003年硕士就读于南京农业大学，专业为动物生理生化；2003-2006年博士就读于中国农业大学，获中国农业大学农学博士学位，专业为动物营养与饲料科学。2010年11月至2011年11月在美国耶鲁大学做访问学者。
兼任陕西省饲料生产许可证专家审核委员，陕西省饲料产业技术创新战略联盟副秘书长，中国畜牧兽医学会动物营养学分会理事，陕西省生理学会理事。
畜禽免疫营养调控和营养表观遗传调控。
现主要从事动物营养与饲料科学领域的教学与科研工作。
现主要从事动物营养与饲料科学领域的教学工作，先后承担本科生《饲料添加剂学》、《动物营养学》、《家畜饲养学》等课程教学工作；博、硕士研究生《动物营养生理学》、《家畜营养与饲养学》等课程。主讲的《动物营养与低碳健康养殖》于2012年被评为教育部精品视频公开课。
