英国R&B/流行歌手/制作人Taio Cruz来自英国伦敦，1983年4月23日出生，曾获得全英音乐奖。他曾为众多知名艺人例如Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake和Pussycat Dolls等写歌，2008年他得到了机会发行了由自己全权创作的个人处子专辑《Departure》。专辑为他在英国获得了MOBO黑人音乐奖提名。2009年10月，他的第二张专辑《Rokstarr》在英国发行，单曲“Break Your Heart”先是在英国，之后次年3月在美国都分别获得了单曲榜冠军。而Cruz参与创作专辑的艺人还包括Cheryl Cole, Kesha, Alexandra Burke, Grandy Norwood和Sugababes等。
