专业特长为各类恶性肿瘤的放疗、放化疗综合治疗，对结直肠癌及前列腺癌有深入研究。开展各种精确放射治疗技术临床实践及剂量学研究。曾先后在瑞士沃州大学医院放疗科和日内瓦大学医院放疗科工作五年。其博士研究课题为瑞士国家科学基金资助的科研项目，博士论文荣获瑞士日内瓦大学人类医学奖——Fernand Tissot奖。回国后主持开展了多项肿瘤治疗新技术，率先在天津市开展了动态调强放疗技术。在研局级以上课题1项。
