角色简介

它像恐龙一样高大，有着一副爬虫的翅膀，身上还覆盖着鳞片。它的爪子长而尖锐，长着两条分别向上向下的尾巴。这个凶恶的、时常发出嘶嘶声的野兽是红皇后最爱用的武器，将在爱丽丝的最终命运中起一定作用。宿敌是沃尔柏之剑。爱丽丝拿着沃尔柏之剑杀死炸脖龙。也被音译作炸脖龙或伽卜沃奇。

《爱丽丝梦游仙境》的姊妹篇《爱丽丝穿镜奇幻记》第一章里收录了一首名为Jabberwocky的诗，下面是这首诗的原文：Twas brillig，and the slithy toves Did gyre and gimble in the wabe； All mimsy were the borogoves， And the mome raths outgrabe.
