《邪恶力量》第五季将于北京时间2009年9月11日首播。第四季末，Castiel告知“Dean，Lilith的死才是最终封印”，并背叛了Zachariah私自将其释放，但无奈为时已晚，Sam已在Ruby的设计下将Lilith杀死了，Lucifer将从地狱来到人间......
第五季的将围绕两条线索展开：一是Lucifer与天使们如何决战末日天启，二是第四季季末产生隔阂的Sam与Dean是否能解开，两人的未来又何去何从？
