副研究员、硕士导师。九三学社社员,四川省动物学会理事,中国动物学会两栖爬行动物学分会理事。1995年毕业于兰州大学动物学专业,2003年在西南师范大学获得硕士学位,2006年在中国科学院水生生物研究所获得博士学位。2006年7月进入中国科学院成都生物所从事两栖爬行动物分类、系统发育和生物地理学研究,2009年9月评为副研究员。
