《英语国家概况》是2008年由外语教学与研究出版社出版的图书，作者是余志远。
本书是为高等教育自学考试英语专业组编的一套教材中的一种，这本教材是根据专业考试计划，从造就和选拔人才的需要出发，按照全国高等教育自学考试指导委员会颂布的《英语国家概况自学考试大纲》的要求，结合自学考试的特点，组织高等院校一些专家学者集体编写而成的。本教材是供个人自学、社会助学和国家考试使用的。是一本非常实用的英语教材。
设置本课程的目的是为了使英语专业专科学生了解主要英语国家的文化，地理，历史，经济和政治等方面的概况；了解主要英语国家的文化传统，风俗习惯和社会生活的其他有关情况。
